SAFE, LLC has multiple job openings for a New York State Workers’ Compensation Adjusters.

The Claims Adjuster responsibilities are to satisfy the legal obligations of our clients by controlling claims costs, generating accurate claims information, setting proper reserves, managing medical, and disability and legal aspects including resolutions of the claims in a proactive, efficient and timely manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain case load of Indemnity and Medical Only claims
• Investigations
• Reserving
• Medical Management
• Litigation Management
• Proactive Action Plans
• Fraud Prevention
• Following clients Special Handling Instructions
• Customer Service

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Working knowledge of NYS Workers’ Compensation Laws.
• Strong people and customer service skills.
• Solid computer skills, including but not limited to claims software programs and Microsoft Office 2010.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superb professional, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims.
• New York State Adjusters License preferred but not mandatory.
